방법 2. 이메일로 요청

앱에 로그인하실 수 없는 등 앱 안에서 요청이 어려우신 경우, 아래 주소로 요청해 주십시오.

본인 확인을 위해 가입하신 이메일 주소에서 보내 주십시오. 다른 주소로 보내신 경우, 본인 확인을 위한 추가 절차를 안내드릴 수 있습니다.

이메일로 접수된 요청은 30일 이내에 처리해 드립니다. 더 빠르게 처리하시려면 위 방법 1을 이용해 주십시오.

삭제되는 데이터

계정 삭제가 확정되면 회사 서버에 보관 중인 아래 정보가 삭제됩니다.

삭제되지 않는 데이터

아래 항목은 법령상 의무 또는 제3자의 신뢰 보호를 위해 계정 삭제 후에도 보존됩니다.

직접 집필 인증서	보존	발급된 인증서는 편집자·연재 플랫폼 등 제3자가 인증서 번호로 진위를 확인하는 용도로 사용되므로, 계정이 삭제되어도 인증서 자체는 유지됩니다. 다만 인증서의 바탕이 된 집필 활동 상세 기록은 계정 삭제 시 함께 삭제됩니다.

상태창은 이용자의 원고와 창작 자료를 이용자 본인의 기기에 저장합니다. 회사 서버에 원고 전체가 보관되어 있는 것이 아니므로, 계정 삭제와 별개로 다음을 확인해 주십시오.

How to request deletion

In the app: Menu > 계정 삭제 (Delete account). The request is accepted immediately and processed after 7 days.
By email: send a request from your registered email address to poomstory@poomstory.com with the subject "Account deletion request". Email requests are processed within 30 days.

What happens next: the account is suspended immediately and permanently deleted after a 7-day grace period. Signing in again during that period cancels the request and restores the account.

Data deleted: account details (email, name, login ID, password), assistant conversation history and synced assistant preferences, writing activity and streak records, Google Drive linkage data, push notification tokens, and in-app inquiry records including attached images.

Data retained: records of contracts and withdrawal of subscription (5 years), payment and supply records (5 years), and consumer complaint or dispute records (3 years), as required by Korean e-commerce law; minimal information for fraud prevention and service recovery for 30 days after deletion; and issued authorship certificates, which remain valid because third parties verify them by certificate number (the underlying detailed writing activity records are deleted).

Data on your own devices: manuscripts are stored locally on your device and, if you enabled backup, in your own Google Drive. Deleting the app removes local data; Google Drive backups can be deleted by you from your Google Drive.
